So I couldn't resist joining in on Bona's "What's in your vintage purse swap?"
And oh my goodness was it so much fun to create this little wooden purse and the 10 items that needed to go inside it! Although, I must admit, they didn't actually FIT inside the purse..heehee
My Partner was Lily! She received her purse last week, and I think I will be getting mine sometime this week. I can't wait to get mine!

Paper Bird Cage
Okay, so today I had a little bit of crafting time. I had originally started working on a couple of desk calendars that need some finishing touches, but ended up making this. I decided to go with this, so I could display a photo of sweet Ezra. Isn't he adorable!! He is the son of our dearest best friends Dan & M... Or at least that's what we call them...lol
Hopefully tomorrow I can finish the calendars..heehee. If I do, I will post pictures of them, cause you know, it is April..hahaha. But, one is for my hubby, and one for my best gal... so they don't mind, there's plenty of months still left in the year..
Thanks for stopping by!

Cupcake using a bath net sponge
HI, I just wanted to share another one of my latest little yummies.. I used to make handmade soap due to the fact that I have really sensitive skin, I had bought packages of these bath sponges because my friend and I had made some cupcake soaps using these and a cupcake mold. They were the cutest soaps, and Alyssa loved them so much, that of course I stocked up on these bath sponges. I got them at the dollar tree, yep for a $1.00.... I know right..and there are 6 in the pack!
I made a quick, template for the bottom part of the cupcake, then I added a magnet to the bottom because the shelf that my cupcake will sit on is metal, so the magnet keeps it in place. I actually got clever..heehee!
I then just simply glued the bath scrubby in place.. So SIMPLE!! Then of course I just decorated it and oh, the netting holds the stick pins perfectly!!!!

Recently Finished projects
I have been getting my CRAFT ON here recently.. YAY! lol Life has been busy, but I have managed to escape to my crafty area here and there.
My local scrap booking store "Scrapper's Boutique" has been getting in a lot of the new CHA products, and I fell in love with some of the new My Minds Eye paper "stella & rose"! LOVE IT!
I created a layout of Alyssa, along with a little shadow box with the same collection!
Then I also made a layout using the Lost & Found Paper.
I also made a small accordion fold mini using the Graphic 45 Steampunk Collection, that one was fun! Okay, well hope you enjoy my little creations, and thanks for stopping by!

My 2011 Desk Calendar
Hi Ladies!
Just wanted to share with you my desk calendar I made using envelopes. I had seen many similar projects out there, but I really wanted my calendar to have a side pocket. So after a couple of days of pondering on that idea, I came up with this very easy one. It took very little time to make. Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs, Lisa
